Search Engine Management
Imagine a shop owner opening a new shop 10 years ago on the main road of a town. There was good foot traffic, certainly enough to keep the owner and his family well off, and little or no competition.
5 Years later, as the town grew, more stores opened along the road to cater for the increased population, resulting of course in decreased traffic to the owners shop through dilution…
So, today the shop owner should be asking, how can I get more traffic to my shop, and how can I keep them coming back?
The direction of this analogy is fairly obvious. 10 Years ago if you were online you were ahead of the game and probably amongst the first in your market. Today there is so much choice for the average consumer in every market, that if they cannot find you or your product online through searching then you’re missing an opportunity to engage with an audience.
Moreover, until people reach your site it really doesn’t matter how much money was spent building it, nor how many latest and greatest features there are.
So our general point of view through experience is that any digital project should have an element that considers the role of search in the overall strategy, and in most cases it’s better to compromise on features than to neglect the role of search.

Consultancy

Most of the time our clients want to hire people in-house, but at the same time recognise they are either out of their depth technically, or unsure of the better course of action.

Localization

Localisation is making a website or web application usable for many languages. Additionally, this could include language and geographically specific search engine campaigns, and social media management for that language.

Social Media

Today every age demographic has some form of social networking site that caters specifically for that demographic, and with new services like Twitter, people are talking online. Does your company know what people are saying about you?
