Content Management Systems
Imagine that you’d like to have your website updated by your marketing team, or that you want to enable anyone in your company to update your website using an approval process. You might also want your teams to collaborate more efficiently from anywhere with an internet connection, or you may want to reduce dependencies on shared hard drives and important information stored in everyone’s email.
Similarly, if you’ve used Gmail or Hotmail, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, Flickr, Kindo or MyHeritage, then you’ve used a consumer web application.
Simply put, content management systems and web applications make it easy for people to interact with content or data without needing the technical knowledge to do so, and can be public facing (internet) or internal (intranet).
Typical implementations for businesses are content managed websites for easy wysiwyg updating, corporate blogs for news and articles, company-wide intranets and project blogs as collaboration tools, searchable documentation wikis that reduce the need for shared drives, internal business systems that integrate teams better, and CRM systems which make shared sales and communication and easier.
Our consumer web application experience includes online dating, consumer retail and reviews for baby products, and a global family social network with users in 220 countries and in 17 languages.
Note that because these systems are all interacted with via a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox, they can generally be used by anyone, anytime, anywhere, so long as there is an internet connection.

Consultancy

Most of the time our clients want to hire people in-house, but at the same time recognise they are either out of their depth technically, or unsure of the better course of action.

Localization

Localisation is making a website or web application usable for many languages. Additionally, this could include language and geographically specific search engine campaigns, and social media management for that language.

E-Commerce

We're not supply chain or retail experts, but we are agile web experts, so we partner with clients who want the benefit of an external team who's interests are aligned with theirs for the long term, leaving the client to focus on retailing.
